How we handle copyright complaints about material on this website.

Last updated: 10 August 2026

This page is a general-purpose starting template, not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer. Review and adapt it — including how it interacts with copyright law in your own and your users' jurisdictions — before relying on it in production.

1. Introduction

IPTV UK respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects visitors and users of this website to do the same. This policy explains how we handle copyright complaints about material appearing on this website (britishiptv4k.com) — for example blog content or images — and follows the general notice-and-takedown approach used by the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), regardless of where a complainant is based.

2. Copyright Complaints

If you believe that material on this website infringes copyright you own or control, you may submit a written notice requesting that we remove or disable access to it. This policy covers material published on this website itself. It does not cover, and we cannot act on complaints about, live television channels, streams, or content delivered through third-party IPTV applications or infrastructure that are not hosted on this website — see our Terms of Service for how the wider service is described.

3. Required Information for a DMCA Notice

To help us review your complaint efficiently, a notice should include:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
  • The specific URL or location on this website where the allegedly infringing material appears, with enough detail for us to locate it;
  • Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf; and
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Notices that do not contain sufficient information to identify the allegedly infringing material and the complainant may not be actionable, and we may ask you to provide the missing details before we can review the complaint.

4. How to Submit a Notice

Send copyright complaints to contact@britishiptv4k.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice”, including the information listed above. We aim to acknowledge and review valid notices promptly, though response times are not guaranteed.

5. Counter-Notification

If material you posted or are responsible for has been removed as a result of a notice and you believe this was done in error, you may submit a counter-notification. A counter-notification should include:

  • Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal;
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  • Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address;
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice; and
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Send counter-notifications to the same address above with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice”.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

We may, at our discretion, suspend or terminate access for users or accounts associated with repeated, substantiated copyright complaints. Whether a particular complaint is substantiated is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Good-Faith Statements

Submitting a notice or counter-notification that contains material misrepresentations may carry legal consequences for the person submitting it. Please only submit a notice or counter-notification if you genuinely and in good faith believe the statements in it are accurate.

8. Third-Party Content

Some content on this website may originate from or reference third parties (for example, linked resources or embedded material). Where we are not the original source of specific content, we will remove or disable access to material we control in response to a valid notice, and, where practical, direct complainants to the appropriate third party responsible for content we do not control.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

10. Contact
